Boxed House
Proyecto para casa de campo/casa de vacaciones. El volumen principal está localizado entre dos muros envolventes que forman patios íntimos con atmósferas diferentes para el área de estancia y recámara.

Slats House- Project Update.
Casa Slats es un proyecto residencial diseñado específicamente para el comfort total de los futuros habitantes. El proyecto empieza en la planta alta que funciona como áreas para visitas y estancia con la planta baja sirviendo como área privada y recámaras.
Slats House is a residential project that is being designed specifically for the total comfort of its future inhabitants. The plan starts on the top floor which serves as main living and guest areas with the sleeping and private quarters in the lower floor (the lot slopes downwards about 5 meters).
Laurel Canyon 220X.
Laurel Canyon in the Hollywood Hills has an interesting vibe and rich history within the city of Los Angeles. This design concept for a small house to replace an old wooden hut sits on a lot facing northwest in Laurel Canyon (with great views and a slight slope to the east/southeast).
The new building's program called for a one bedroom abode with first class amenities: fire pit, full kitchen, bar, living room, bathroom, walk-in closet, and a terrace with a view of the valley. We were encouraged to get inspiration from seafaring vessels, specifically yachts and cruising boats.
We will refine the concept further and hopefully see this house come to life soon.

Luna House
Rendering of preliminary design for Luna House: a living space for 4 people with full kitchen that serves as guest and pool house for the main house in the property (a converted stone wall barn).

Di Frabo Ristorante Italiano
Di Frabo Ristorante in The Dominion area of San Antonio, Texas has been completed and is scheduled to open to the public within the next two weeks.
This is our first project in the U.S. (built in association with DHR Architects) and we're very happy with the outcome: it had an interesting learning curve and the results are fantastic! The project was finished within budget which was very good for all parties involved (owners-designers-builders). The international design team was a pleasure to work with and the experience only reinforces the idea of cross-border collaboration.

Di Frabo Ristorante Italiano
Di Frabo Ristorante Italiano-study model.
We have been collaborating with DHR Architects on a new restaurant for Di Frabo Group to be located in San Antonio, TX.
Preliminary design has been approved and construction documents are being drawn, we hope to be ready for a grand opening in July 2015.
New Houses
Two new single family home projects in the city of Monterrey.
TCR House: this is a still "in progress", as we are developing parallel ideas for the architectural program, different design esthetics for the building; the floor plan would include 3 bedrooms with bathroom and walk-in closets, a home theater, a family room, a home office, wine cellar, bar, a fully equipped professional kitchen, an outdoor kitchen, and a 2 car garage.

Weg House: final approved version of this house which was designed as a fluid form. A concrete shell with an open feel is proposed as a way to integrate with the mountainous landscape surrounding the lot, letting nature enter the domain while protecting it from the afternoon sun, taking advantage of natural light.

Listón Rojo.
Listón Rojo es una idea basada en el concepto de ligereza y aprovechamiento de la luz natural. El elemento modular (la envoltura roja) puede re-configurarse juntando dos o más estructuras para hacer interesantes combinaciones de uso: aquí vemos uno conectado a una base que agrega una cochera para tres autos, una cocina y baño completo, generando una casa de huespedes.

Red Ribbon is an idea based on the concept of lightness and the use of natural light. The modular element (red envelope) can be reconfigured by joining two or more structures to make interesting combinations: you see it here connected to a base that adds a three car garage, a kitchen and full bath, turning it into a guest house.
Study House 004.
Number 4 in the series, this project is based on the modular 4x8ft. standard and variations adding 1/4, 1/2, etc. to the widths and heights creating a more welcoming interior, taking note of the exterior details made from zinc, aluminum and ebony panels and double pane windows. The plan consists of two bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen, living room and study, and a space for future expansion on the second floor terrace, in the spirit of DIY construction that lowers building cost and makes for a more adaptable dwelling for inhabitants.
